It was designed by Filipino architect Leandro V. Locsin, the interior of the palace was designed by Khuan Chew, the construction was handled by a Filipino construction firm, Ayala International, and completed in 1984
Istana Nurul Iman currently hold the title as the “world’s largest palace” of Guinness World Records.
